Note: These reports are only indicators. If it looks like rain or begins to rain, get out of any slot canyon. Use your judgment, you are responsible for your own safety. Zion National Park posts the weather report at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center, so check it before heading out to the slot canyons. Remember a storm far away can cause a flash flood.

Weather from Zion's Kolob Mountain

Weather as read from Bryce Canyon. The weather in Bryce Canyon is colder than Zion National Park. Zion Book: Favorite Hikes in and around Zion National Park

Weather - Grand Canyon North Rim weather. It's colder here than at the South Rim.

Southern Utah Weather
The weather in the National Parks and National Monuments of southern Utah are often read from the nearest large city. This is the same for the smaller towns in the area. However, Saint George and Cedar City, although only 45 miles apart vary greatly in temperature and elevation.
Cedar City weather is a good indicator for the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park. Mount Carmel weather is a good read for the east side of Zion. The weather in Hurricane will be close to that in the Kolob Terrace and Zion Canyon.
